Outdoor Boards
The best outdoor boards are made of fibrecement which does not expand and contract with temperature and humidity changes like timber does, so makes a strong and stable base for your mosaics. Fibrecement will absorb water if left unsealed and although it doesn't harm it at all, it is still best to paint the back with an acrylic paint (like house paint) when you have finished your mosaic, to keep the water out.
The nature of fibrecement makes it hard to attach hooks for hanging, so all of our boards are prewired and ready to hang.
