Fused Glass Introduction Class
Welcome to the wonderful (and highly addictive!) world of glass fusing and slumping.
This is the process of melting glass in a kiln, to make jewellery, platters and pictures.
To start off, we are offering an introduction class which is 2.5 hours long , and in it we explain the process of kiln-formed glass and then guide you while you make a few pieces of jewellery of your own.
Cost is $45 per person and includes use of tools in the workshop, and kiln firing. Materials are additional, but are not usually more than $30
We have a range of fusible glass in store, including some beautiful dichroic glass, plus a large range of silver and gold findings for fused to make your glass into pendants, earrings and bracelets. These will start to be available online from this website soon...
After completing the introductory class, you are welcome to come to our weekly classes to continue making jewellery either at $80 for 6 weeks, or $20 per session on a casual basis, or you can make your pieces at home and bring them in to us for kiln firing for a small charge.
