Findings for Fused Glass

Our findings are high quality, silver or gold plated and have a pattern embossed into the plates to give the glue a great surface to adhere to.

Our favourite glue to use is an epoxy like Araldite - but make sure that you use the Super Strength version. The 5 minute and 90 second versions are nowhere near as strong or water resistant. Super Strength is slow to dry, but once it is set, it is there to stay!

Araldite Super Strength 24ml Syringe
Do not confuse Super Strength Araldite with the 5 minute or Ultra Clear varieties. Super strength is the only one to use for jewelley findings. This pack comes in a syringe form so that it is easy to mix equal amounts of each part.

Squeeze them out on a disposible surface, mix very well with a small stick and apply sparingly to the finding before attaching the jewellery. It is slow to set - takes a couple of hours before it "grabs" and about 3 days to reach its maximum strength, but it is pretty well stuck overnight.
