Stained Glass and Mosaics Day and Evening Classes

Price: $105.01 (Inc: GST at 15%)

This is a two hour evening (or daytime) class each week where anything goes!! You can come to these classes to learn something new in mosaics or stained glass or glass fusing, to further develop your skills, or just to enjoy a social and creative time.

For beginners wishing to learn stained glass, you will first need to have glass cutting experience - see our short course in glass cutting. and then there are two stages. First is making a copper foil (or Tiffany Tecnique) light catcher, and second is a more advanced copper foil project like a lampshade, or else you can try your hand at leadlighting with lead came.

For beginners wishing to learn glass fusing, you will first need to attend a Fused Glass Introduction workshop, (see our Workshop Calendar for the next available date).

For beginners wishing to learn mosaicing, no previous experience is required.

The Thursday classes are run every morning from 10.00 - 12.00am and evening from 6 - 8pm and work on a "rolling start" basis where you can start on any Thursday (space permitting) and continue for 6 consecutive weeks.
